On Thursday, April 9, 1950 Montreal Road welcomed many members of the community for its open house, an evening marked by inspiring conversations, strong attendance, and genuine enthusiasm for the future of the site.
The event provided an opportunity to present the project in a welcoming and open setting, while giving residents the chance to ask questions, discover the vision behind the project, and connect with the team. Throughout the evening, the interest shown and the quality of the discussions confirmed the importance of continuing this process in close collaboration with the community.
We would like to warmly thank everyone who joined us. Their presence, curiosity, and feedback helped make this gathering both positive and meaningful for what lies ahead.
We would also like to highlight the presence of members of City Council, as well as Cornwall Mayor Justin Towndale, whose participation was greatly appreciated.
A special thank you goes to Céleste Cordonnier, Director of Development, and Anna Kourkounakis, Architecture and Design Lead, for their commitment, their presence at the event, and their ongoing contribution to moving this vision forward.
The evening was a strong reminder of how essential dialogue with the community is to the evolution of the project. We are grateful to be able to move this vision forward with such interest and support, and we look forward to continuing this positive momentum.
Thank you again for being part of this process and for helping us imagine the future of 1950 Montreal Road.
